Worth noting: the centre of Banyuls-sur-Mer has a wonderful sea-water swimming pool.

The big Saint-Cyprien beach, its fishing port and seaside setting beside the Albera Massif form a luxury background for a truly relaxing break.
From the sea to the mountains
The Massif du Canigó, officially listed as a major site in Occitania and France, is the emblem of the Catalonia region. It can be seen from Saint-Cyprien, where you will be enjoying your well-deserved thalassotherapy break, and rises to 2784 metres. You are an hour's drive away from the foot of this legendary mountain. As an alternative to an energetic climb up the mountain, you can visit the wonderful Saint-Martin-du-Canigou abbey.

The beach is 9 km long, stretching all the way to Flamants Roses, the thalassotherapy centre in Canet-en-Roussillon. The centre covers 1,200 m2, with three floors providing over 80 treatments to choose from and 10 thalassotherapy programmes. - By car: all the thalassotherapy centres in Occitania can be reached by the A9 motorway.
- By plane: for Le Grau-du-Roi and La Grande-Motte, Nîmes and Montpellier airports. For Canet, Saint-Cyprien and Banyuls-sur-Mer, Perpignan airport.
- By train: Le Grau-du-Roi and Banyuls-sur-Mer have TER regional train services. For La Grande-Motte, high-speed TGV train to Montpellier station, then local bus service. For Saint-Cyprien and Canet: high-speed TGV train to Perpignan station, then local bus service.
