In Masseube, a small country house typical Gascon, you can reach the lake through the link with the campsite *** by the banks of the Gers, or by its direct access. Man-made for various uses, Ile d'Ager is influenced by the Gers. It is therefore interesting to come and observe its fauna and flora diversity. Families love to come here in the summer because the site is shaded and ideal for nature activities or simply rest. Ile d'Ager has picnic tables, drinking water point, power connection, shelter, playground structures; ideal to spend his day. Other services are in the immediate vicinity of the site like a cinema, restaurants, the tourist office, bank, hypermarket, post office, doctor, pharmacy and others. It should be noted that swimming is prohibited, but a fishing course for young people (without capture) is proposed. A sports trail and an educational trail await its fans. Maple trees will bring shade and two car parks are at your disposal. This small island of greenery is connected with the campsite which is nearby. A small path allows to link on foot camping and Ager Island. Biodiversity, what are you talking about? Ecologists experienced, amateur or simply curious nature, we invite you to discover or rediscover a territory with rich natural resources and too little known: the Ile d'Ager. The BTS GPN (Management and protection of nature) use this micro territory, in partnership with the town of Masseube to carry out actions in connection with their training; proposal for renewal of awareness board, installation of insect hotels, permaculture, flowering fallow, planting old fruit trees, etc.
