At the Saint-Raymond Museum, the Archaeology Museum of Toulouse, you enter a place that will not leave you indifferent. On the 2nd floor, the objects presented and the models remind you of Toulouse and its region at the time of the Gauls and the Romans. On the 1st floor, you will never know if it is you who are looking at the portraits in the gallery or if it is the emperors who are staring at you. Then come the mythological sculptures with these astonishing carved reliefs representing the Works of Hercules. Go underground to discover a real archaeological site: an ancient cemetery in which an astonishing vestige, a lime kiln, has been preserved. Finish with the sarcophagi and their decoration. For a moment out of time, drink a coffee in the small exotic garden with its unusual and unknown charm.
