Les Planeurs d'Avignon - Pujaut
The 100 hectare land is ideal for learning. There are 3 tracks, 2 of which are over 1000 meters as well as a 4 km long cliff for slope flight.
Since a glider cannot leave the ground alone, it is necessary to use a tow plane or a winch to carry out the launch.
The glider can be pulled, hooked to the end of the towing cable, until it reaches a sufficient altitude, to become autonomous and master of its gliding flight.
The Avignon-Pujaut Glider Club offers:• Initiation flights:
Glider: about 20 min (depending on the aerology)
By motor glider: 15 min (circuit on Avignon) - 30 min (circuit on the Pont du Gard)
• Internships (open to all):
Discovery of glider flight: One day, Monday to Friday. Maximum 3 trainees per instructor.
Winch training: 3 mornings.
• Packages for the glider pilot's license.
