DOMAINE SAINT HILAIRE
Montpellier, Béziers & Environs
Points of interest
Domaine Saint-Hilaire is a family owned and managed vineyard in Montagnac, between Molier's Pezenas and the water's edge at Meze.
The 175-acre estate has been producing wine since Roman times but it was Baron Hilaire Reynaud, an illustroius hero and general in Napoleon's army, who gave it his own name when he purchased it in 1817. We grow 9 grape varieties which are typical Languedoc grapes, such as Grenache and Syrah, but also other grapes as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon which take on their own special character under the warm Languedoc sun. All our wines are prodused on IGP Pays d'Oc apelation. Our philosophy is to keep intervention low and let the nature naterally express the qualities of our distinct terroirs trough the grapes into our wines.
